Here’s how it works:
The Moving Type has written the first chapter (it has been published! Find it here) for what is set to become the biggest collaboration story in the world. The story falls under no specific genre so no matter what kind of reader or writer you are, there’s something in it for you. You decide.
If you are a resident of the world, you can send us your submission for how you think the story should progress next in a minimum of 500 and a maximum of 1000 words. If your submission is selected, it becomes the next chapter of the story! You can submit multiple entries for the next chapter. However, each new chapter requires a new writer so you can only be published once.
The new chapters will be posted each Wednesday. Once the new chapter is posted, submissions will be accepted until 11:30 pm the following Monday. Regularly check the Story tab for deadlines.
The aim is to complete the story by 2021 and have it published as an individual novel. All proceeds earned from the sale of the book will be donated to a charity collectively voted on by all participants.
